Registered Nurse
This Support Worker role is focused on supporting people with care, daily routines, clinical tasks, or wellbeing according to the role remit. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where the work sits
Provide specialist clinical care for patients with chronic renal failure requiring haemodialysis treatment within a nurse led unit. Take responsibility for the holistic care of a group of patients and their families attending regular treatment sessions.

Supporting people with care, daily routines, clinical tasks, or wellbeing according to the role remit. As a Registered Nurse working in our service, you will be supported to learn the skills required to manage patients requiring renal replacement, both haemodialysis/ hemodiafiltrati.
Practical details
- Develop expert skills in haemodialysis and renal specialist care and have access to educational opportunities to attend renal specialist courses.
- If successful, the post‑holder will be expected to work 50% Saturdays and 50% twilight shifts.
- This is a Part Time role, working 30.75hours per week.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
Care skills and requirements
- Registered Nurse with current live NMC registration/ pin.
- Teaching and assessing qualification (998 or equivalent) or willing to undertake after 2 years post registration (secured a position on this type of course).
- Advanced communication skills, verbal & written, to include report writing.
