The Registered Nurse position centres on the Radiology Department are seeking a highly motivated band 6 Registered Nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their existing clinical skills to work within the existing Team and a. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.

What you would be doing
The Radiology Department are seeking a highly motivated band 6 Registered Nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their existing clinical skills to work within the existing Team and a. Role development is expected within this role to further support the Interventional service by undertaking extended practice such as: PICC Line insertion, Hickman Line Removal, Nep. The Radiographers, Consultants and Nurses all work very closely together to ensure the best outcomes for all patients during imaging or interventions.
The working style that fits
Handling shift-by-shift responsibilities with consistency and care. Involves providing support and patient care to the patients during procedures or when unwell and assisting the Clinical team undertaking interventional procedures. Strong professional approach.
What you need
- Previous Interventional Radiology nursing experience is desirable however training will be given and candidates with evidence of relevant transferable skills will be considered.
