What the role involves

• Carry out telephone, video, in‑person and paper‑based assessments to understand how each individual’s condition or disability affects their daily life.
• Produce detailed, evidence‑based reports — typically 3,000–4,000 words — that support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in their decision-making.
• Full, comprehensive training will equip you to deliver assessments and reports to the highest standard.
• Training & Support Structured training programme running Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Comprehensive preparation for assessments.

Skills and requirements

• Support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.
• Relevant care, clinical.

• This role allows you to step away from shift work, reduce the physical demands of frontline care, and still make a significant impact — all within structured hours and a supportive.
• Working mainly from home through a hybrid model, you’ll attend your local assessment centre on scheduled days as required.
