What the role involves

• Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
• Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC.
• Maintain excellent standards of care.
• Managing the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.

Skills and requirements

• Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
• We know the happiness of our staff improves the service we give our residents.
• Develop your skills, and we have the procedures and processes in place to help you at every step.

Candidate fit

• A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.

Additional role context

• As our Care Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home.
• As a regulated business, we expect the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations.
• Support to our residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.
