Job description

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, the work centres on rapid response admission avoidance – assessment for small pieces of equipment to maintain safety and independence to avoid admission to hospital. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.

Where the work sits

The Physiotherapy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a band 3 Physio Assistant at the Dorking Hospital. Position: Rehabilitation Assistant – Physio Assistant.

Rapid response admission avoidance – assessment for small pieces of equipment to maintain safety and independence to avoid admission to hospital.

Practical details

  • If successful, you will be working full-time hours from Monday to Friday.
  • Duration: Possible Ongoing Contract.
  • Payrate: £14-15 per hour.

What needs to be in place

  • Competent and confident in assessment for small equipment aids under the supervision and support of the qualified therapists.
  • Rehabilitation in patients homes of urgent / routine rehab / falls patients.
  • Review / assessment of mobility and the provision of walking aids.
