Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

This Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is focused on carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse. It would suit someone who can bring supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.

How the role is set up

From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most aspects of Amazon’s techn. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best.

Where someone would start

Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse. Carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites’ equipment to make sure it’s working safely. Work on a range of shifts to make sure our sites are supported around the clock – allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we’re known for.

What is expected

• Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ).
• Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
