What the role involves

• A dedicated Children’s Worker to provide high-quality care in residential and community settings.
• Work with a team to deliver tailored activities, offer daily care for those with complex needs.

Skills and requirements

• Experience with disabilities and understanding child development is desirable.
• A genuine interest in working with children with disabilities and respect for our ethos are essential.
• PVG Scheme membership and necessary vetting checks are required.
• Today we are one of the largest social care providers in Scotland, with experience across a broad range of services.

Candidate fit

• Be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.

Additional role context

• Record care details, and help children access services while promoting social inclusion.
• Ideally, you should have an SVQ3 in Social Services (Children & Young People) and HNC level or be committed to achieving these.
