Security Officer focuses on controlling access and managing site visitors and drivers.

What the role involves

• Controlling access and managing site visitors and drivers.
• Carrying out regular patrols of the site (majority outdoors).
• Maintaining accurate records and incident reports.
• Responding to incidents appropriately and escalating when required.
• Ensuring site rules and procedures are followed at all times.
• Supporting site operations during busy periods, holidays, and sickness cover.

Skills and requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (DS or SG) – essential.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Confident dealing with drivers, visitors, and contractors.

• Reporting to: Operations Manager/ Assistant Contract Manager/ Regional Supervisors.
