Security Officer focuses on monitoring cctv and alarm systems, and prevent unauthorised entry.

What the role involves

• Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and prevent unauthorised entry.
• Carry out regular internal and external security patrols to ensure the safety of people and premises.
• Record safety hazards, security concerns, accidents, and suspicious activities.
• Managing keys, access passes, and other site security equipment.
• Supporting Health & Safety compliance by promoting safe working practices and reporting hazards or near misses.
• Operate radios, pagers, and security systems effectively.

Skills and requirements

• Good communication, customer service skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Valid UK driving licence and vehicle desirable.
