Job description
As a Remote Business Lecturer, the work centres on contribute to the development of a range of modules across the curriculum and to support the quality assurance processes pertinent to the programme(s) on which you are teaching. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
What the work involves
- Contribute to the development of a range of modules across the curriculum and to support the quality assurance processes pertinent to the programme(s) on which you are teaching.
- As a Lecturer you are expected to engage students in the learning process to deliver the best possible student outcomes.
- ~ Develop, update, and continuously improve course materials.
Working environment
~ Undertake a reflective programme of staff development which includes teaching observations, directed study, workshop participation and experiential learning. ~ Design assessments and assess student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
Skills and requirements
- ~ Keep up to date with best practice in learning and teaching and ensure that your teaching reflects best practice and embeds technologies that enhance the learning experience.
- ESSENTIAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: ~ A relevant master’s degree qualification ~ Demonstrable experience of teaching in UK higher education HND/HNC Pearson.
- ~ Experience of supporting learners both face-to-face and remotely.
