What the role involves

• Logging and managed repair jobs across multiple housing sites using Civica CX as operating system.
• Monitoring KPIs to ensure jobs were completed within target timescales.
• Liaised with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to update job progress.
• Raised purchase orders and managed subcontractor instructions in CX- Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance before invoicing.
• Responding to calls and inbox queries, prioritising urgent works and ensuring timely resolution.
• Supported compliance by managing job documentation and reports for auditing purposes.

Skills and requirements

• Have social housing experience and has a full UK driving license & vehicle.
• Knowledge of areas like damp & mould, disrepair, and general housing standards.
• Solid understanding of building maintenance, common defects.

Confirmed role details

• Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Repairs/Voids Surveyor on an initial 12 – fixed term contract.
• The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis.
• The hourly rate is £48,500 per annum + £5,425 car allowance.
• 35 hours per week.

Additional role context

• Cover the South London/Surrey/A3 corridor and will be able to work from home 2/3 days a week.
