Job description
The 107339 position centres on analysing and interpret research data arising from modelling, simulation, and/or experimental activities. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
Role overview
This appointment will be for 18 months in the first instance. Build and perform experiments on the optimised devices to validate models at the device levels, in collaboration with other researchers.
Main responsibilities
Provide guidance, as required, to support staff and any students who may be assisting with the research. Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research in the field of energy conversion and storage, with assistance of a mentor if required. Analysing and interpret research data arising from modelling, simulation, and/or experimental activities.
Requirements
- Good underpinning degree (2:1 and above) in relevant science and engineering disciplines, for example: thermal engineering, chemical and process engineering, energy engineering, ph.
- Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010, and how to actively ensure in day to day activity in own area that those with protected characteristics are tre.
