- Coordinating closely with internal departments and external contacts, including consultants and medical secretaries.
- Provide patients with clear booking information and pre-appointment instructions.
- Maintaining a patient-first approach, ensuring their experience and well-being are at the centre of all booking activity.
Skills and requirements
- A good level of general education (equivalent to 3–5 GCSEs at grade C or above).
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in a similar customer/client-centric Reception or administrative role.
- Experience with Radiology patient information and booking systems.
Confirmed role details
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week).
- Shifts are between 8:00am – 8:00pm (with set patterns such as 8:00–4:30, 9:00–5:30, or 11:30–8:00).
- Weekend work is occasional – currently approximately1 in 8 weekends on a fair rota system (this may change slightly to meet the needs of the business).
- We make sure rotas are shared well in advance, so you can plan your personal time.
