• Diagnose issues, complete checks, and keep records or handovers accurate.

Skills and requirements

• Knowledge and experience of the design of heavy civil engineering and building structures to relevant codes, preferably including seismic codes.
• Knowledge of architectural design of industrial buildings.
• Knowledge of building services design and installation.
• Be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills required in technical design development.

Confirmed role details

• Duration: 12 Month Contract.
• The Resident Engineer remains functionally accountable to the Design and Safety Manager by delegation through the Implementation Design Manager.
• The Construction Resident Engineer is accountable to the Lead Construction Manager for day-to-day planning matters.
• The primary purpose of the role is to provide advice.
