Job description

The Support Worker position centres on £500 Welcome Bonus on completion of successful probation period. It would suit someone who can bring calm, dependable, and steady in a child-focused residential setting to the role.

Who the work supports

As a Children's Residential Support Worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

How support shows up

£500 Welcome Bonus on completion of successful probation period. Complete and update care plans regularly, updating with any additional requirements. Ensure our children receive the highest level of support.

What needs to be in place

  • Relevant residential childcare, support work, or young-person support experience.

Job details

  • New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately.
  • Furthermore as a Support Worker every moment you spend with our young people helps them feel safe, valued and supported.
  • A full UK driving licence is required and we are unable to offer sponsorship for this vacancy.
  • However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.
