Role overview

Budwood, a part of Polaris Community, are a local business providing Residential Care and Support to children and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties as well as so. We are looking for passionate Residential Support Workers to join one of our homes in Bournemouth on a casual basis, covering shifts within the business as and when needed.

Requirements

• Be willing to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position. Your DBS check shall be paid for by ourselves.
• Experience of working with children and young people as well as understanding of the issues that face young people in care.
• Relevant residential childcare, support work, or young-person support experience.

• Residential Support Worker Full Time/Permanent: Casual.
• Be a part of a team that provide flexible and individual care packages towards all our children and young adults.

• All staff are trained in ‘Developmental Trauma’ and therapeutic parenting to best aid your understanding and ability to provide young people with the best support possible.
