Respiratory Technician
Job description
This Respiratory Technician role is focused on perform Lung Functions, nebulisation and reversibility testing. It would suit someone who can bring ensure a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas to the role.
Role overview
Castlefield Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established Independent Healthcare Provider, who are committed to delivering the highest quality healthcare. You will report to the Operations Manager and provide a testing service within a Community Diagnostic Centre.
Main responsibilities
Perform Lung Functions, nebulisation and reversibility testing. Maintaining and update professional knowledge including new procedures and techniques. Help oversee shift-by-shift operations and maintain performance standards.

Ensure a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas. Provide patient management and preparation for procedures. Maintain a confident and professional approach with patients - Essential.
Requirements
- Relevant Spirometry experience in a healthcare setting - Essential.
- There is no weekend or out of hours work required.
- Be comfortable working independently - Desirable.
Job details
- Flexibility can be provided around working as an interim or on a permanent contract, on a case by case basis.
- Part Time 3 days – Permanent.
- Shift pattern: Weekends.
