The Responsible Investment & Stewardship Analyst position centres on work closely with investment teams to support ESG integration and responsible investment activity across portfolios. It would suit someone who can bring ownership, clear communication, and practical organisation to the role.

Who the work supports

LGPSC is jointly owned on an equal shares basis by those Partner Funds, and it is responsible for managing £45bn+ of their assets. It is one of eight Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) asset pools in the UK.

How support shows up

Work closely with investment teams to support ESG integration and responsible investment activity across portfolios. Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to produce ESG, climate and sustainability reports that support investment decision making and risk management. Supporting the delivery of sustainability, climate change and TCFD reports to Partner Funds and present findings where required.

What needs to be in place

  • Demonstrable interest in ESG and responsible investment through academic study, work experience or both.
  • Awareness of the interaction between ESG factors, including climate change, and investment outcomes.
  • Understanding of climate related risks, including carbon risk metrics.
