Retail Assistant focuses on greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
What the role involves
- Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
- Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store by using open questions.
- Maintaining the feedback loop to designers and buyers by recording and returning customer comments to Store Management.
- Timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Be proactive in loss prevention by keeping the stockroom well organised and maintaining proper procedures.
- Re-merchandise displays, point of sale, and select areas of the store regularly so as to maximise product sell through.
Skills and requirements
- Retail experience necessary.
