Retail Assistant focuses on processing payments accurately.

What the role involves

• Processing payments accurately.
• Keeping shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Managing stock levels.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy workspace.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Supporting with opening and closing the retail unit.

Skills and requirements

• You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training.

Candidate fit

• Customer focus, reliability, product awareness, and practical store standards.

Additional role context

• RAF Leeming, Premier Shop, Northallerton, DL7 9NJ.
• 15 hours per week.
• 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends).
