Risk and Control Specialist focuses on partner with business and functional teams (embedded and non-embedded) to support effective, risk-aware decision-making.
What the role involves
- Partner with business and functional teams (embedded and non-embedded) to support effective, risk-aware decision-making.
- Support the mitigation of emerging and crystallised risks, escalating where appropriate.
- Translate risk policies, frameworks, and standards into clear, practical actions to drive understanding, embedment, and compliance.
- Leading oversight and analysis of risk events, issues, and control failures, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
- Drive continuous improvement, and enhance risk management effectiveness.
- Supporting RCSA activity, including workshops, attestations, control testing, and ongoing maintenance of risk profiles.
Skills and requirements
- Experience within a risk and control or similar governance function.
- Analytical mindset with experience delivering risk reporting and tracking actions through to completion.

- A hybrid working policy, 2 days per week Onsite in our Manchester office.
