RTT Production Engineer

As a RTT Production Engineer, the work centres on to provide input to the mechanical construction and design of prototype CT X-Ray inspection machines. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Role overview

Production Engineer will support Engineering activities in the development and testing of complex CT X-Ray Inspection Machines. This is a hands on role which involves input to and the construction of engineering prototype systems and /or the upgrade of existing test systems.

Main responsibilities

To provide input to the mechanical construction and design of prototype CT X-Ray inspection machines. To lead the assembly of prototype CT test machines. Execution of machine hardware modifications to assist the Engineering and Test functions with upgrading equipment under test.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5years +) of shopfloor product assembly in a manufacturing organisation.
• Excellent practical skills in assembly & modification of mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems an advantage.
