RTX Business Manager (UK) Location: London, UK (Hybrid – travel as required) Department: Regent Talent Exchange Reporting to: CEO Office Overall Purpose The RTX Business Manager (UK) will lead the candidate lifecycle for the Regent Talent Exchange programme, with primary responsibility for recruitment, selection, placement, and visa compliance.
The role ensures high-quality candidate outcomes and successful placements, while maintaining full compliance with US immigration requirements.
This position requires strong operational leadership and close collaboration with US counterparts to ensure global alignment and programme excellence.
Key Responsibilities Candidate Recruitment & Selection Design and deliver end-to-end recruitment strategies Manage outreach, screening, interviews, and selection processes Ensure candidate quality, readiness, and cultural fit Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines Placement Matching & Programme Delivery Lead matching between candidates and host companies Ensure alignment between candidate goals and opportunities Oversee onboarding and pre-departure processes Monitor progress and resolve issues Visa & Compliance Management Manage US J1 visa processes Ensure compliance with immigration regulations Liaise with legal and compliance teams Maintain audit-ready documentation Candidate Experience & Welfare Act as main point of contact for candidates Ensure a high-quality participant experience Address challenges proactively Cross-Regional Collaboration Work with US teams to align pipelines Ensure smooth candidate handover Share insights to improve outcomes Monitoring & Reporting Track recruitment and placement KPIs Produce reports for leadership Drive continuous improvement Additional Responsibilities Support marketing initiatives Represent RTX at recruitment events Contribute to programme development Requirements Essential 5+ years’ experience in recruitment, programme management, or international education Strong candidate-facing experience Knowledge of US visa processes (J1) Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills Desirable Experience in international internships or mobility programmes Familiarity with compliance and audit processes Person Specification Experience & Personal Qualities Experience in client or candidate-facing programme roles Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong ownership and organisation Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach Technical Skills Proficiency in MS Office, CRM and project tools Excellent written and verbal communication Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above Experience in visa/immigration compliance Compliance Statement Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
