Safeguarding Lead focuses on act as a designated safeguarding lead, managing concerns, referrals, and safeguarding records in line with statutory guidance.

What the role involves

• Act as a designated safeguarding lead, managing concerns, referrals, and safeguarding records in line with statutory guidance.
• Monitoring safeguarding trends.
• Ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
• Work collaboratively with external agencies (social care, health, local authority) to support pupils and families.
• Provide advice, guidance, and training to staff on safeguarding practice.
• Supporting pupils facing additional challenges, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and supported.
