Salaried or Partner GP focuses on we work closely with nhs western isles to deliver the full range of general medical services.

What the role involves

• We work closely with NHS Western Isles to deliver the full range of General Medical Services.
• As a training practice, we regularly support GP trainees and medical students, and our GPs are actively involved in mentoring and education.

Confirmed role details

• Call commitment.
• Opportunities to work across both sites.
• Minimal home visiting requirements (primarily in Habost), with urgent and unscheduled visits undertaken by the Health Board.
• Rural Small Town.

Candidate fit

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly GP to join our well-established family practice based in Stornoway and Habost on the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles of Scotland.
• We pride ourselves on providing a positive and flexible working environment, with flexible session patters to support a healthy work-life balance.

Additional role context

• Health Centre, Springfield Road, Stornoway, Western Isles HS1 2PS.
• This position is available on either a salaried or partnership basis for 6-8 sessions per week.
• We are a GP training practice serving approximately 8,000 patients across the island.
