Sales Manager – Civil Engineering
Location: Co. Antrim
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (negotiable, depending on experience) + Bonus, Life Insurance, Healthcare & Pension
Our client, a leading business in the civil engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with industry experience to play a key role in driving growth and strengthening client relationships. This role offers flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a small sales team, driving performance and achieving revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders within the engineering industry. Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and enhancing market position. Provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects to support competitive tender submissions. Lead the bid and tender process, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. Collaborate with internal teams and logistics to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery. Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and support business development strategies. Deliver regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management. Motivate, mentor, and train the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and vision. Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Candidate Criteria:
Proven track record in sales within the engineering or construction sectors. Previous management experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client management. Package:
