The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker for a high-achieving Primary school in Hertfordshire. This is an essential role in a friendly, community-focused school. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all site issues, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to student safety.

Core Responsibilities

• Daily Site Checks: Ensuring the school gates, fences, and playgrounds are secure and free of hazards every morning.

• Winter Maintenance: Responsible for gritting paths and clearing snow during the winter months to ensure the school can remain open.

• Minor Installations: Assembling furniture, installing shelving, and assisting teachers with the display of student work in communal areas.
