Schools Tutor focuses on the primary purpose of this role will be to support 14 -16-year old students with academic, vocational and pastoral subjects, while developing the learners’ employability, personal.

What the role involves

• The primary purpose of this role will be to support 14 -16-year old students with academic, vocational and pastoral subjects, while developing the learners’ employability, personal.
• Support to a small cohort of 14+ year olds on Nacro’s School’s and Study Programme.
• · Conduct initial assessments for all learners enrolled onto Nacro Education programmes ensuring the needs of learners are met.
• · Develop appropriate learning resources, facilities, and environment to support high quality teaching and learning.
• Support the practical and theoretical elements of the courses offered through the Study Programme.
• · Assist in the delivery of all accredited and non-accredited qualifications.

Skills and requirements

• Teaching qualification CET equivalent or above. However, we can offer support to achieve a teaching qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• IQA/Assessor qualification is desirable.
• A DBS check is essential.
