The Science Teacher position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

Ensure students remain engaged, challenged and supported in their learning while maintaining strong classroom management. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following pre-set schemes of work or departmental planning.

What you need
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two references from the last 2 years.
- Experience teaching or supporting learning in secondary schools.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.

- A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking confident and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Behaviour expectations are clear, allowing teachers to focus on effective teaching and student outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff when needed.
- Support students in developing subject knowledge and understanding.
