Science Teacher

The Science Teacher position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

What you need

• Hold an up-to-date CV with two references from the last 2 years.
• Experience teaching or supporting learning in secondary schools.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.

• A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking confident and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Behaviour expectations are clear, allowing teachers to focus on effective teaching and student outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with departmental staff when needed.
• Support students in developing subject knowledge and understanding.
