Job description
As a Science Teacher, the work centres on to specialise in leading and delivering Science up to GCSE level to KS3 and KS4 aged pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs. It would suit someone who can bring supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine to the role.
Role overview
To specialise in leading and delivering Science up to GCSE level to KS3 and KS4 aged pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs. A dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher that has experience teaching pupils with ASC and additional behavioural needs to join a specialist team within a new school opening in.
What helps someone succeed
Supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine. Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar setting supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs. Including mainstre. Passionate about working with students with SEND needs.

- Relevant SEN, teaching, or learner-support experience.
