What the role involves

• Delivering well-structured Science lessons across KS3–KS4.
• Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations.
• Embedding fieldwork and case study learning into schemes of work.
• Contributing to departmental planning and assessment moderation.
• Supporting enrichment activities such as local field trips and Science clubs.

Skills and requirements

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 teaching depending on experience.

Candidate fit

• Hold QTS and a degree in Science or a related field.
• Demonstrate secure subject knowledge across KS3–KS4.
• Be confident in managing behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
