Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Supporting teaching staff during practical lessons when required. Ensuring laboratories are clean, tidy and safe.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory environment (preferred).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures in a school or lab setting.

Job details

• Temporary – Immediate start until end of June.
• We are seeking a Science Technician to support the Science Department at a secondary school in Shirley, Croydon.
• 8:00am – 2:00pm (no break) OR.
• Finish at 2:30pm with a break.
