Scrub Nurse focuses on assisting with gowning and gloving of the surgical team and maintaining a sterile field.

What the role involves

• Assisting with gowning and gloving of the surgical team and maintaining a sterile field.
• Anticipating the surgeon’s needs and maintaining an organised surgical field.
• Coordinating with the circulating nurse to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies during the surgery.

Skills and requirements

• NMC Registration 6 months.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a scrub nurse.
• To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV.
• Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
