• Delivering high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Assisting with curriculum planning, assessment, and tracking of student progress.
• Leading on specific areas of responsibility (e.g. KS4 outcomes, literacy, or curriculum development).
• Support colleagues to drive high standards of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies.

• We are working in partnership with a leading Academy in Hertfordshire to recruit an ambitious and talented Second in Charge of English (2iC) to join their successful department fro.

Candidate fit

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level, including KS4 and ideally KS5.
