Secondary Behaviour Mentor
Job description
The Secondary Behaviour Mentor position in SEND, SEMH centres on delivering one-to-one and small group interventions, including mentoring, sports coaching (football, basketball, boxing), music activities, or other structured sessions. It would suit someone who can bring positive and supportive approach to behaviour management to the role.
Role overview
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Knowledge of Autism, SEMH, or trauma-informed approaches.
Main responsibilities
Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions, including mentoring, sports coaching (football, basketball, boxing), music activities, or other structured sessions. Monitoring and report on student progress and intervention outcomes. Collaborate with teachers and pastoral teams using team teaching approaches where appropriate.

Requirements
- Experience supporting young people in youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, behaviour support, or similar.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children.
