This Secondary Cover Supervisor role is focused on delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and engaged. It would suit someone who can bring strong classroom management and confident communication skills to the role.

Role overview

Manage behaviour in line with school policies. This role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.

Main responsibilities

Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and engaged. Supervise lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• An enhanced DBS, including a children’s barred list check and, where applicable, a vulnerable adults barred list check, is required for all successful candidates.
