What the role involves
- Delivering both practical and theory-based lessons, including nutrition and food safety.
- Assess and track pupil progress, using outcomes to inform planning.
- Preparing students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, where applicable.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and well-managed teaching kitchen.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.

- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Confirmed role details
- Start Date: September 2026.
- Full-time | Permanent / Long-Term.
- £168-£232 per day (dependent on experience).
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
Candidate fit
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have experience teaching Food Technology or related DT subjects at secondary level.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in nutrition, food preparation, and hygiene.
