  • Monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies.
  • Supporting students in developing scientific knowledge, enquiry skills, and critical thinking.
  • Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong outcomes.
  • Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.

Skills and requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • All roles are subject to full safeguarding and vetting procedures.

Confirmed role details

  • Full-time, Permanent / Long-Term.
  • £168-£232 per day (dependent on experience).
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
  • We are currently working in partnership with a successful and well-established secondary school that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher from Se.

Candidate fit

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in one or more Science disciplines.
