Job description
The Security Officer position centres on accountable to conduct daily fire patrols, including fire safety equipment, report any faults and follow up to ensure they have been addressed. It would suit someone who can bring calm and organised in a fast-paced setting to the role.
Role overview

Main responsibilities
Accountable to conduct daily fire patrols, including fire safety equipment, report any faults and follow up to ensure they have been addressed. Accountable to assist staff, visitors and contractors with the verification, preparation, issue and recoveries of id cards, visitors pass and pass out forms. Responsible to ensure no unauthorised persons enter the company premises and to ensure that all persons properly seeking admission are courteously received an assisted.

Requirements
- You have already gained first work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Already have a SIA license (Door Supervisor) and preferably have good knowledge of current laws and legislations.
- With your good working knowledge of firefighting equipment and procedures you will be able to respond to an emergency immediately.
