SEMH Class Teacher focuses on support lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.

- Support lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.
- Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.
Skills and requirements
- An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you).
- QTS and Teaching experience in either SEND, Primary or Secondary School settings within the UK.
- Strong Behaviour Management skills.
- An interest in supporting and Teaching pupils with SEMH.
Confirmed role details
- Between £130-220 per day (DOE).
- Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2026. For the right candidate, a Permanent job offer may be made.
- Start Date – ASAP.

Additional role context
- Working with Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream School and have SEMH and SEND of varying levels as well as challenging behaviour.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
- Will involve managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
