• Use de-escalation strategies when needed, remaining calm, patient, and proactive.
• Monitoring and track student progress, providing vital feedback and celebrating each student’s achievements.
• You’re passionate about supporting young people’s growth and well-being and have the skills to back it up.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
• An empathetic, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the confidence to implement them.
