SEMH Teacher
Job description
The SEMH Teacher position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where the work sits
A truly unique and alternative setting in Redbridge are looking to welcome Primary or Secondary Trained Teachers to support their SEMH learners , on a Full Time basis. The setting accommodates up 16 learners, with all tutoring taking place in small/intimate learning areas , on a 1:1 basis.

supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.
Practical details
- Previous experience of teaching the Primary or Secondary curriculum.
- A commitment to supporting learners both academically and pastorally.
- Ability to diffuse challenging behaviour if presented, and to remain both calm and respectful.
- Prior experience or a desire to join work in smaller and more specialist settings.
What needs to be in place
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.

- Pay: £150-190 per day
