SEMH Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
What the role involves
- Develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
- Opportunity to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
- Helping pupils develop emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.
Skills and requirements
- Gain valuable experience working with pupils with SEMH needs and additional learning needs.
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and adapting learning where required.
- Have experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, youth work, or care setting (desirable but not essential).
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs (desirable).
Confirmed role details
- Full-time, term-time only position (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm).
- Competitive weekly pay of £500-£575, depending on experience.
- Manchester location (M14 7SH) with excellent public transport links.
