SEMH Teaching Assistant

- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in lessons and structured activities.
- Assisting the class teacher in maintaining a calm and supportive classroom environment.
- Use de-escalation strategies and consistent routines to support behaviour.
- Work with individuals and small groups to support engagement and learning.
- Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Strong communication and behaviour support skills.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

- £460 – £600 per week.
