  • Use de-escalation strategies and consistent routines to support behaviour.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support engagement and learning.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships.

Skills and requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Strong communication and behaviour support skills.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
