This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Need to be confident going into a classroom and building strong relationships with pupils in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The school are currently seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant that can provide our pupils the additional support they need to reach those dreams.
What you would be doing
supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.
What you need
- Previous experience working as a youth mentor or offence officer would be desirable.
- Previous experience working directly with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needs or a background in Mental Health.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
