What the role involves
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Supporting students in managing emotions, behaviour, and social interactions.
- Assisting students in accessing the curriculum and completing classroom tasks.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and personalised support plans.
- Build strong, positive relationships to encourage engagement and progress.
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
