SEMH Tutor focuses on we are currently seeking passionate maths, english, and science tutors across st helens and the surrounding areas to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils of varying abilities.

What the role involves

• We are currently seeking passionate Maths, English, and Science tutors across St Helens and the surrounding areas to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils of varying abilities.
• This role offers the opportunity to support students in a more personalised way — whether they need a confidence boost, extra academic support, or alternative provision due to SEN/.
• Focused 1:1 Support – Deliver tailored face-to-face sessions outside of a traditional classroom environment.
• Freedom to Teach Your Way – Plan and adapt lessons around each pupil’s individual learning style and needs.
• Rewarding Outcomes – Build strong relationships and directly see the progress your support creates.
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Skills and requirements

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs.
• Teaching, tutoring, or classroom experience.

• This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, suitable references and online background checks.

Confirmed role details

• Flexible hours ranging from 1 to 25 hours per week.
