SEN Cover Supervisor

This SEN Cover Supervisor role is focused on managing classes in the absence of the teacher. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Who the work supports

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to support student progress.

How support shows up

Managing classes in the absence of the teacher. Ensure students remain on task. Provide individual and small group support to students with SEN.

What needs to be in place

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above).
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g. ASD, SEMH).
• Strong behaviour management and classroom supervision skills.

Job details

• Job Type: Full Time.
• £1,000 refer-a-friend bonus.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
• In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
