SEN Learning Support Assistant
Job description
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, the work centres on providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN. It would suit someone who can bring supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine to the role.

Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN. A setting where support staff are valued, not overlooked. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team.

Supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine. Helping students stay engaged, focused, and confident in the classroom. Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
What is expected
- Experience working with children or adults with SEN (school-based or similar).
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
- Relevant SEN, teaching, or learner-support experience.

- We’re working with a welcoming school in Brentwood that’s on the lookout for a full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella company hassle.
