Skills and requirements

• The school will support training for candidates who may not have experience of working in these kinds of settings.
• Have experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and SEMH.
• Hays Education will be able to obtain recent satisfactory references that reflect this experience.

• Classroom confidence, lesson planning, communication, and learner awareness.

Additional role context

• Is to start in September 2026 and will run till December in the first instance and possibly beyond.
• The school caters for children at KS3 level with social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH).
• Entails supporting children in class who have SEMH and some other additional SEN.
